After life as a collegiate hurdler and sprinter, FLRT asked me to join 
them as a 400m runner and hurdler. 
 
I made the painful transition to the distance events in 2003. Though my lifetime 
bests in the 5k and 25k are slower than most runners on FLRT, I am proud to be 
associated with the team and honored that they keep me around and have not taken 
my jersey away yet!
